Who the heck is this Mr. Moskauski guy?!?!?!?!
Greeting, Gator Country! My name is Todd Moskauski, 7th grade math teacher at Archer Lodge Middle School. I am originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. My wife, Melissa, and I moved to North Carolina in 2005. We currently live in Clayton, NC with our daughters Jordanna (12) and Presley (9), and our dogs Jezebelle and Jax.
I graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia in 2005. While in Philadelphia, I had experience teaching various grades ranging from 1st grade through 10th grade. I began my North Carolina teaching career in Durham Public Schools as a 4th grade teacher. I then moved on to Wake County Public Schools, teaching 5th grade at Douglas Creative Arts & Science Elementary School and 6th grade math at West Millbrook Middle School. I transferred to Johnston County Public Schools in 2018, teaching 6th grade math at Riverwood Middle School. This will be my first year at ALMS. My wife is also a teacher. She teaches 4th grade at Riverwood Elementary School.
I am an avid sports fan, especially of the "Super Bowl LII Champion" Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies, and Sixers. As a sports fan, I try to incorporate sports and healthy competition into classroom activities as much as possible. My students have always been excited when the Eagles win on Sunday or Monday, because they know that a win equates to no homework the following night!
I am extremely excited about the upcoming academic year! I appreciate the trust that you have in me in allowing me to help teach, guide, and develop your child. The old saying goes, "If you truly love what you do for a living, then you never work a day in your life." I am still waiting for my first day of "work"!
